	What types of businesses make up the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and what is offered to them? Because of our diverse base of 3,500 businesses in Elk Grove, consisting of commercial, industrial and retail businesses, we offer chamber members opportunities that appeal to their particular interest. All members gain access to Village government and have input on special initiatives, such as the revitalization of the business park, improvements to the local transportation structure and other vital programs linked to business.
	What types of programs and services does the Chamber offer? The Chamber offers many of the traditional Chamber of Commerce functions, such as luncheons, business-after-hours and networking possibilities. However, the goal is to provide services that are special and unique that address the needs of our local business community.
	Who governs the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, and what is its affiliation with the Greater O'Hare Association (GOA)? The governing body of the Chamber is a 15-member Board of Directors selected by a vote of Elk Grove Chamber members. From among that body, a chairperson and other officers are selected. The Chamber functions autonomously in creating programs and providing initiatives specific to Elk Grove businesses. The EGCC is an affiliate of the GOA, which provides staffing and professional assistance to the Chamber. Elk Grove Chamber members get the best of both worlds. They are members of both the EGCC and GOA for one member rate. This means that members enjoy the exclusivity of belonging to the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce while drawing on the vast resources of the Greater O'Hare Association, a strong regional Chamber of Commerce.
